Die portraitierte Gruppe von Studiomusikern aus Los Angeles musizierte in den 1960 Jahren bei erfolg- und einflussreichen Aufnahmen von Bands und S\u00e4ngern wie The Beach Boys, The Mamas and the Papas, Sonny &amp; Cher, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Glenn Campbell, Tijuana Brass und Elvis.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201eWhat the Funk Brothers did for Motown \u201eThe Wrecking Crew\u201c did, only bigger, for the West Coast Sound. Six years in a row in the 1960s and early 1970s, the Grammy for \u201cRecord of the Year\u201d went to Wrecking Crew recordings. Die komplizierte Rechtslage bzgl. diverser Lizenzierungen h\u00e4tten den Film nahezu unm\u00f6glich gemacht. Mithilfe einer gro\u00df angelegten Crowdfunding Kampagne hat es dann aber doch geklappt. Seit einigen Wochen laufen bereits erste Vorf\u00fchrungen bei ausgew\u00e4hlten, amerikanischen Filmfestivals und Programmkinos. Ab dem 16.
